Beverlee J. Conrad was born August 26, 1921 in Chicago to William Addison and Virginia Grace (LeSeur) Bentley. She passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at her son’s house in Fort Atkinson.

Beverlee began working at the Abbey Resort as a waitress on their opening day. After dedicating 53 years of her life to them, Beverlee retired at age 95 as their Ambassador.

Beverlee is survived by her sons James Edward Bartz of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Richard William (Cheri) Bartz of Walworth, Wisconsin, William Robert (Susie) Bartz of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, and Edward Anthony (Patty) Bartz of Carlsbad, California; 18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Capt. James Bartz, ASAF.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Chapel on the Hill, N2440 Ara Glen Dr, Lake Geneva, WI from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at East Delavan Union Cemetery in Delavan, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Lakeland Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1000 Elkhorn, WI 53121.
