Of Williams Bay
Janis Patti was born March 17, 1936 in Chicago to Tony and Ada (Datro) Miklica. She passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 in Williams Bay, WI.
Janis grew up in Chicago and attended Harrison High School where she met several lifelong friends, the most important of whom was her husband and partner Bud of 45 Years .
She was cherished by her family and was a dedicated Christ follower.
Jan was a loving wife to Bud. They loved travel and boating and being with family and friends. As a grandmother Nonni Jan is cherished and deeply loved. She’s impacted her grandchildren with life lessons and an Godly example in trusting in Jesus Christ as your Savior in the good times and bad. She was blessed to witness many of her grand children’s marriages. She was doubly blessed to hold two of her great grand children.
She would want all of us to turn to God’s living word and be encouraged by her favorite verse from Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Janis is survived by her children Dale Patti, Lori (Gregg) Karnis, Debbie (Larry) Clinton, Claudine (Larry) Wells, and Nick (Melissa) Patti; grandchildren Larry, Dana, Ashley, Nico, Natalie, Rachael, Nicole, Mia, Victoria, Brytne, Jessica, Joey, and Sophia; great grandchildren Cheyenne and Landon; as well as her sister Carol Miklica.
