I am sorry for your loss. I work with a German shepherd rescue in Missouri. I am quite sure that many appreciated Helen as a rescue person. I will keep you, Nick and family in my prayers. May Helen rest in God's arms.

Nick and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Helen was also my rescue mentor and good friend. She had an amazing love for animals. So very blessed I spoke with her a couple weeks ago. She definitely made a huge impact on my life, RIP Helen, I know you are at peace with all your rescues that you saved and free of worry and pain. You will always be in my heart.

Helen was a great woman and dedicated to cavalier rescue. It is my honor to call her a friend. She left her mark on the rescue community and we will carry on her legacy in her honor and memory. My deepest sympathy to her family

Condolences Nick. Helen fought a hard fight, just like she did for the dogs that needed her most. I met Helen many years ago in a combined effort to rescue pups from a local hoarding situation...we were with different rescues. We met several times after that at rescue events. It was Princess Sophia that brought me into Cavalier Rescue. I had the pleasure to become a board member with Helen's urging. We worked hand in hand for quite some time. Helen truly knew what rescue was and lived "it's all about the dogs". May you find comfort, Nick, in the many memories that you shared! (I wish I could have seen her driving the race car!) Nick and family, I am so heartbroken at the loss of Helen. What a great lady she was. She taught me so much about rescue and cavaliers. She leaves behind a huge legacy in GCCR and will never be forgotten. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences.
